Hybrid sauna flexibility in a more compact three-person outdoor cabin. The Golden Designs Carinthia GDI-8123-01 combines PureTech™ full-spectrum infrared heating with an included 8kW Harvia traditional sauna stove, allowing you to choose between lower-temperature radiant infrared sessions and classic high-temperature sauna heat in the same outdoor structure.

Built from natural reforested Canadian Hemlock with a weather-protective exterior stain, the Carinthia delivers the same dual-heating concept as Golden Designs' larger hybrid models in a more manageable three-person footprint.

Hybrid Full Spectrum IR + Traditional Sauna

The Carinthia integrates two independent heating approaches in one cabin. Use the PureTech™ full-spectrum infrared system for lower-temperature radiant heat or the 8kW Harvia traditional stove for a classic high-temperature sauna session.

8 Full Spectrum Infrared Emitters

The infrared system uses 8 total emitters: 2 PureTech™ Near Zero EMF carbon heating panels and 6 near-infrared heating elements. Together they provide full-spectrum infrared coverage throughout the three-person cabin.

Included 8kW Harvia Traditional Stove

The Carinthia includes an 8kW Harvia traditional sauna stove with built-in controls. Golden Designs lists an ideal traditional operating range of approximately 170°F-185°F, with temperatures up to approximately 190°F.

Infrared Temperature Range

For full-spectrum infrared use, Golden Designs lists an ideal operating range of approximately 118°F-132°F, with temperatures up to approximately 140°F.

Canadian Hemlock Construction

The cabin is built from natural reforested Canadian Hemlock with a waterproof exterior stain. Outdoor wood surfaces require periodic maintenance according to Golden Designs' installation and warranty guidance.

Bronze Privacy Tempered Glass

The bronze privacy tempered-glass door gives the Carinthia a more private, finished appearance while allowing natural light into the cabin.

Chromotherapy + Red-Light Feature

An interior chromotherapy lighting system provides multiple color settings, including a red-light feature. This lighting feature is intended to complement the sauna environment and should not be treated as a substitute for a dedicated medical or therapeutic light device.

Exterior Roof Accent Lighting

Integrated lighting beneath the roofline adds a finished architectural glow around the entry and helps the Carinthia feel at home in a premium backyard or outdoor wellness space.

Bluetooth, FM Radio & Built-In Speakers

An interior LED control panel manages supported lighting and audio functions, including FM radio and Bluetooth connectivity. Built-in performance speakers let you listen to music, podcasts, or guided audio during a session.

Electrical & Installation

The Carinthia requires 240V / 40A electrical service for the traditional stove and full-spectrum infrared system. Installation should follow Golden Designs' instructions, the heater manufacturer's requirements, and all applicable electrical codes. A certified licensed electrician should complete the required electrical connection.

Outdoor Installation & Maintenance

This model is designed for outdoor use. Golden Designs requires outdoor saunas to be properly protected and maintained against weather exposure. The exterior waterproof stain should be maintained as directed by the manufacturer to help preserve the wood and warranty eligibility.

Delivery

The Carinthia ships by freight in 9 boxes with a total shipping weight of approximately 930 lb. Freight delivery arrangements and site-access requirements vary by destination. Inspect all cartons for visible freight damage before accepting delivery.

Manufacturer Warranty

Golden Designs' current Hybrid/Outdoor Sauna warranty provides 5 years of coverage on the wood structure when properly maintained, the control panel, applicable control-panel harnesses, and lights. The stove/heater is covered under its own manufacturer's warranty. Coverage applies to the original purchaser at the original installation site and covers parts rather than labor.
